Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Richard's career has spanned the full spectrum of production work.
He's produced over 50 albums, from Heavy Metal, Reggae, Blues, Bollywood, Bhangra, Rock and Roll, New Age, Jazz, Pop and Garage, and hundreds of TV and radio commercials.
As a musician he's played on over 170 recordings and performed in 28 countries on 5 continents. He has composed for a myriad of artists, television series, news and current affairs programs and commercials, and provided the sound design for a number of Hollywood films including An American Werewolf in London, Superman II, III & IV, and Flash Gordon. Richard has also provided interactive inflight entertainment content for 9 major airlines and has worked extensively with interactive television broadcasters in developing educational content.
He currently lectures at Norwich University of the Arts, University of West London, Kingston University and Tech Music School. He is Chief Executive Officer of the Music Producers Guild, and is a PhD candidate in Ethnomusicology at City University, London.
